PRIAE’s BAFTA launched Playing Our Part After 50 – Citizenship and Participation of Black and Minority Ethnic Elders (Dual pack of film and guide, 1999)

This BAFTA-launched film that received funding from the Home Office Race Equality Unit, entertainingly shows the contribution of BME elders and encourages others to get involved with volunteering. Proposal for a Chinese Extra Care Home in London (2003)

Puts forward a strong case, in the light of the on-going partnership between PRIAE, the Great Wall Housing Association and Hanover Housing, for an Extra Care Home for the Chinese community of London. The report looks at the current policy climate, examines demography and the experiences of BME elders – specifically of Chinese elders in the London area. It gives a model of a Chinese Extra Care Home and illustrates its importance.
